Gaumukh and Tapovan Trek, Gangotri

Start early from Haridwar and travel to Gangotri, the starting point of the trek. It's a long drive, so make sure to stock up on essentials in Gangotri. Spend the rest of the day exploring Gangotri town and acclimatizing to the altitude. Overnight stay in Gangotri.

Begin the trek from Gangotri to Bhojbasa, a picturesque camping site along the Bhagirathi River. The trek is about 14 km and takes approximately 6-7 hours.
