The Do Dham Yatra (Kedarnath and Badrinath) is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Uttarakhand, attracting devotees and travelers seeking spiritual peace and divine blessings. Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, stands amidst the majestic Garhwal Himalayas, while Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is nestled between Nar and Narayan mountain ranges.
Adding Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world (3,680 m), makes this journey even more divine. Located near Chopta, Tungnath is part of the Panch Kedar temples and is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva’s arms appeared. The trek to Tungnath also leads further up to Chandrashila Peak, offering panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba, and other Himalayan ranges. This combined yatra is a perfect blend of spirituality, adventure, and natural beauty.
