4 Days Nainital & Jim Corbett Tour Package

Your private AC cab picks you up from your Delhi, Noida or Gurugram address (or airport/station) at around 6:00–7:00 AM. The 310 km drive takes about 7–8 hours via Hapur, Moradabad, Rudrapur and Haldwani. Expect a breakfast and chai halt on the highway and a lunch stop (own expense) after Rampur. From Kathgodam the road climbs about 35 km into the hills, the air cools and the pine forests begin. Check in to your Nainital hotel, rest, then head out in the evening for Mall Road and a first walk beside Naini Lake as the lamps come on. Dinner and overnight in Nainital. Tip: leaving Delhi by 6 AM beats the traffic and gets you to the lake while there is still light.

Morning (about 8:30 AM–1:30 PM): the three lakes. After breakfast, drive out to Bhimtal (island aquarium and a quiet shoreline), Sattal (a cluster of forest-ringed lakes, popular with birdwatchers) and Naukuchiatal ("nine-cornered" lake with boating). Return to Nainital for lunch (own expense). Afternoon: Nainital highlights. Naina Devi Temple (a revered Shakti Peeth on the lake's north shore), Naini Lake boat ride, Snow View Point by ropeway for Himalayan views on clear days, Cave Garden, and Lovers' Point / Land's End viewpoints. Tiffin Top (a short trek or pony ride) is best kept for guests who want a longer walk. Finish with shopping on Mall Road: candles, woollens, local preserves and bal mithai. Dinner and overnight in Nainital. Pacing note: this is a full day. We'll mark must-do stops and optional ones so you can slow down if the group wants to.

After breakfast and check-out, drive down to Corbett (about 65 km, 2–2.5 hrs). The road passes through Kaladhungi, where Jim Corbett lived and where his home is now a museum, and near Corbett Falls, a pleasant roadside stop in the forest. Arrive at your resort near Ramnagar, check in and have lunch. In the afternoon visit Garjia Devi Temple, perched on a rock in the Kosi river (a short staircase climb), or simply relax by the pool. Optional: an evening nature walk or resort activities. Your guide briefs you on tomorrow's safari: ID for every guest, muted clothing, an early wake-up. Dinner and overnight in Corbett.

Rise early for your jeep safari in Corbett National Park (about 3 hours; exact slot depends on the season). Zones such as Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela or Durga Devi are allotted subject to permit availability and season. Look for elephants, deer, wild boar, crocodiles, hundreds of bird species and, with luck, tigers or leopards. Return to the resort for breakfast and check-out, visit the Corbett Museum if you have not already stopped at Kaladhungi, then begin the drive back to Delhi (roughly 5–7 hrs). Drop at your home, airport or station by evening. Tip: book onward trains or flights for after 9:30 PM to keep a buffer.
