9 Days Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lhasa & Ali (By Flight)

Embark on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lhasa, one of the most scenic and comfortable routes to the abode of Lord Shiva. This 9-day spiritual journey takes you through the cultural heart of Tibet, starting with a direct flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, followed by a breathtaking journey to Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash. Pilgrims get to explore the holy city of Lhasa—home to ancient monasteries, vibrant markets, and the magnificent Potala Palace—before proceeding to the sacred landscapes of Western Tibet. The highlight of this yatra is the three-day Kailash Parikrama, a life-transforming trek around the divine Mount Kailash, believed to cleanse sins and grant spiritual liberation.

Why Choose the Lhasa Route:

The Lhasa route is the most comfortable, scenic, and high-altitude-friendly path to Mount Kailash and Mansarovar. Pilgrims enjoy the added benefit of gradual acclimatization due to Lhasa’s moderate elevation, reducing the risk of altitude sickness. The Kathmandu–Lhasa–Ali flight combination significantly reduces travel time while offering mesmerizing views of the snow-clad Himalayas. Moreover, travelers get the rare opportunity to experience Tibetan culture, visit historic sites like Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, and witness the natural grandeur of Tibet before reaching the spiritual destination. It’s the perfect route for those seeking a balanced blend of spiritual fulfillment, comfort, and adventure.
