Temple Tour En-route
Your sacred journey begins this morning as our representative welcomes you at Kathgodam railway station between 7:00 and 7:30 AM. After a brief introduction, your deluxe Tempo Traveller or comfortable SUV will begin the scenic drive toward the Kumaon Himalayas. Your first divine halt is at Kainchi Dham, the peaceful ashram of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj, where you take blessings for a successful Adi Kailash Yatra. The journey continues through lush pine valleys to reach Jageshwar Dham, one of the oldest and most spiritual Jyotirlinga clusters in India. After seeking blessings, you proceed to Chitai Golu Devta Temple, famous as the “Temple of Justice,” where devotees offer bells. By evening you reach Pithoragarh and check into your deluxe stay at Sumeru Resort / Pine Resort / Sun & Water Resort, offering double or triple occupancy rooms. Enjoy a restful night amid mountain serenity.
Acclimatization Drive
After breakfast, you begin the scenic drive to Gunji, located around 170 km from Pithoragarh. The route takes you through mesmerizing landscapes, deep valleys, and the iconic Dharchula region near the Nepal border. As altitude gradually increases, this day is intentionally kept light for proper acclimatization, ensuring a smooth transition before the high-altitude visits to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. On arrival in Gunji, check into a clean and well-maintained Wooden Homestay equipped with attached washrooms. Enjoy warm hospitality, mountain views, and a peaceful night to prepare for the next day’s sacred darshan.
The Divine Abode
Today is one of the most important days of your journey. Early morning, you drive toward Jyolingkong, the closest motorable point to the revered Adi Kailash, also known as the “Chhota Kailash,” believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati. As you arrive at Jyolingkong, the divine ambiance of the snow-clad Adi Kailash Peak fills your heart with devotion. Spend quality time visiting Parvati Sarovar, Gauri Kund, and nearby sacred spots such as Pandav Parvat, Bheem ki Kheti, Parvati Mukut, and Brahma Parvat. These mythological sites add a deeply spiritual layer to the entire experience. After performing prayers, capturing memories, and embracing the peaceful Himalayan energy, you return to Gunji for dinner and an overnight stay at your homestay.
Miracle of Nature
After breakfast, you begin your journey toward the mystical Om Parvat, where the natural “OM ॐ” symbol formed by snow on the mountain is considered a divine blessing for devotees. Spend time in meditation and photography, absorbing the rare and sacred beauty of this Himalayan wonder. The journey also includes visits to Kali Temple, Vyas Gufa, and the majestic Nag Parvat. After completing these spiritually enriching experiences, you begin the descent and continue driving back to Dharchula. On arrival, check into your comfortable accommodation at Hotel Kailash Mansarovar / Kailash Manas / KMVN, followed by dinner and a relaxing overnight stay .
The Deluxe Addition
After breakfast, you leave Dharchula and head toward the charming town of Munsiyari, known as the Gateway to the Johar Valley and home to the stunning Panchachuli Mountain Range. The drive is scenic, passing through dense forests, small Himalayan villages, and breathtaking viewpoints. By afternoon or early evening, you reach Munsiyari and check into your deluxe stay at Panchachuli Inn Resort & Cottages, offering Himalayan views and warm hospitality. Spend your evening absorbing the majestic sunset over snow-clad mountains .
Mystical Caves
After a relaxed morning in Munsiyari, you start your journey toward the ancient and mystical Patal Bhuvneshwar Cave Temple, a sacred underground limestone cave dedicated to Lord Shiva. The cave is believed to contain symbols of the 33 crore deities and is considered a gateway to the spiritual world. After exploring this marvel and seeking blessings, you check into your comfortable accommodation at BN Resort / Parwati Resort. Enjoy a peaceful evening immersed in natural beauty and divine surroundings.
