In the tradition of Shaktism, Mata Vaishno Devi is the living manifestation of the divine mother — the supreme Shakti who fulfils every sincere wish of her devotees. In the tradition of Shaivism, Baba Amarnath is Lord Shiva himself — the eternal consciousness who revealed the secret of immortality inside a Himalayan cave that has not changed in centuries. When you undertake both pilgrimages in a single journey — Mata's shrine at 1,560 metres in the Trikuta Hills, followed by Baba's cave at 3,888 metres in the Kashmir Himalayas — you complete the most profound pairing in Hindu pilgrimage: Shakti and Shiva. The Goddess and her Lord. The divine mother and the eternal father. Together. Our Amarnath Yatra with Vaishno Devi Package 2026 (9 Nights / 10 Days) connects these two sacred destinations in a single, seamlessly managed journey: Jammu arrival, Katra, Vaishno Devi darshan, the road to Srinagar through the Kashmir Valley, Sonamarg overnight, helicopter from Baltal to Panchtarni, Holy Cave darshan, Srinagar, Gulmarg, and return to Jammu. Both shrine helicopters — Vaishno Devi (Sanjichhat) and Amarnath (Baltal to Panchtarni) — are included. All permits, hotels, meals (pure veg, no onion/garlic), and 24/7 on-ground support — handled by our team from Day 1 to Day 10. Jai Mata Di. Bam Bam Bhole.
About Mata Vaishno Devi
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji — popularly known as Vaishno Devi or Mata Rani — is one of the most revered Hindu goddesses and her shrine in the Trikuta Hills is one of the most visited pilgrimage destinations in all of India. The holy cave temple is located at 1,560 metres in the Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir, approximately 14 km from Katra town. The shrine houses three sacred pindis — naturally formed rock formations representing the three supreme manifestations of the Goddess: Mahakali (the form of courage and liberation), Mahalakshmi (the form of prosperity and grace), and Mahasaraswati (the form of knowledge and creativity). These three pindis are the actual deities — there is no idol installed. The mythology of Vaishno Devi: According to tradition, Mata Vaishno Devi was a young woman of immense spiritual power who sought Lord Rama's blessings and received instructions from him to go to the Trikuta Hills and meditate. Bhairavnath, a demon enchanted by her beauty, pursued her.
The Goddess led him on a chase through the mountains — the route pilgrims walk today — and when Bhairavnath reached the cave, she severed his head. The dying demon repented and received her grace — his shrine (Bhaironji) is therefore also considered an essential part of the pilgrimage. It is believed that a pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi is incomplete without darshan at Bhaironji's temple. Vaishno Devi is popularly known as Moonh Maangi Muradein Poori Karne Wali Mata — "the Mother who fulfils whatever her children truly wish for." An estimated 8 million pilgrims visit the shrine each year. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) manages the pilgrimage — RFID registration is required for all pilgrims.
Why Choose This Amarnath Yatra with Vaishno Devi Package?
Our Vaishno Devi with Amarnath Package (9 Nights / 10 Days) is specifically designed for senior pilgrims, families, and devotees who want to complete both darshans comfortably, without the physical stress of long treks at altitude. At Vaishno Devi: the helicopter to Sanjichhat (included) covers the steepest section of the 14 km trek, leaving a short 1 km walk to the Bhawan — manageable for most pilgrims. Pony and palki available for those who need them. At Amarnath: the helicopter from Baltal to Panchtarni (included) bypasses the steep Baltal trail entirely. The final 6 km from Panchtarni to the cave is at a gradual incline — pony and palki available throughout. The Sonamarg overnight on Day 5 is your acclimatisation night before the 3,888-metre cave — your body adjusts gently before the darshan day. The Gulmarg day on Day 8 is a leisure excursion after the spiritual intensity of the yatra. Our hotels are selected for comfort and accessibility. All meals are pure vegetarian satvik (no onion, no garlic). From Jammu railway station on Day 1 to Jammu departure on Day 10 — our team is with you at every step. Jai Mata Di. Bam Bam Bhole.
